Angel  (b. 1998 in London, UK, and raised in Ithaca, NY) is a London-based student, singer-songwriter, and co- producer. Her stage name, Angel, stems from her penchant for drawing hearts with halos and wings.

 

Her first muse was Motown, artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and The Temptations that surrounded her as a kid. With both musical and artistic parents, she had access to immerse herself in diverse cultures and genres, finding solace in the therapeutic power of music.

 

The center of her style consists "mostly" of Contemporary R&B with a powerful yet sweet sound. Angel aims to bring introspective songwriting that delves into self-love, healing, and the importance of embracing authenticity in a world of inferiority complex and competition. 

 

She explains further, "Music means more to me than just writing a catchy song or becoming rich and famous. Music has helped me release a lot of pain. Music has given me opportunities to reflect and find strength to move forward. I believe my purpose is to help people feel, and this is what I intend to do."
